Diagnostic Technician (Full Time)
Red Hills Powersports is a reputable, family-owned, and operated powersports business in Tallahassee, FL. We are a fast-paced maintenance/repair facility looking for a self-motivated, full-time, EXPERIENCED diagnostic technician to join our team of motorcycle and powersports enthusiasts.
Competitive Pay & $5000 Hiring Bonus (Paid After 90 Days)
Dealership Hours:
T-F 9-6; Sat 9-5; Closed Sun and Mon
What we are looking for:
- Full-time experienced technician, comfortable with American and metric motorcycles, as well as, off-road vehicles, including Polaris® Off-Road.
- Applicant must be able to provide his or her own tools.
- Extensive hands-on experience with a knowledge base for a variety of makes and models. (PLEASE NOTE: This is not a beginner level position - we are looking for experienced technicians or 5+ years of verifiable industry experience).
- This person should be able to diagnose and repair all aspects of the job given to them.
- MUST have a good driving record and a motorcycle endorsement is a plus.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair powersports and motorcycles with efficiency and accuracy.
- Accurately and clearly document repair findings and steps taken in repair orders.
- Communicate findings effectively with customers and staff.
- Work closely with Parts department to order parts precisely and in a timely manner.
- Any other duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and dealership as a whole.
